What's So Great About Baby Giveaways?
by: Gretchen McClure
Expectant moms and new mothers can have a lot of fun trying out
different products with baby giveaways.
Before the birth of my nephew, my sister told me she was excited
about finding baby giveaways. I couldn't help but laugh when I
heard her say that, and she had to explain what she meant.
No one is giving babies away. But there are many places that
give away goodies that many moms may want or need once they have
given birth.
That made more sense to me. And I realized that this was a
fantastic way for companies to introduce their products to those
who are most likely to buy them, and also a great way for new
families to save some money. When you have a new baby, money is
usually really tight.
A few of the baby giveaways that my sister found didn’t do her
much good. There were plenty for formula, and they just kept coming
in the mail.
Although my sister was breast feeding, she accepted them anyway.
She stored them in her closet so in the event that something
happened and she couldn't breastfeed anymore, she would have a back
up plan.
While feeding a baby by breast is best, there are times when it
is not possible. If this is the case for you, these are some of the
best baby giveaways that you can find. Formula can be expensive,
and getting large size free samples can be a gift from God.
Formula isn't the only product that can be found in baby
giveaways. My sister took finding these very seriously, and she
discovered all types of cool things that I had no idea you could
get for free. Most of the time, she simply found a website and put
in a request, and they would send her something.
What amazed me the most about these types of baby giveaways was
that some were full sized products, not the little sample sizes you
might expect. Some were coupons, but they represented nice savings,
and she put them to good use.
When searching for baby giveaways, don’t look at them as just
free gifts. Think of them as the best way to try all of the things
out there so you can decide what works best for your baby and your
family. All children are different, and they all need different
things.
The free stuff is nice of course, but it is also a great way to
decide which really are the best products so you can get the best
when you go out to buy more. These companies aren't just doing this
out of the goodness of their hearts, they see you as a potential
long-time customer. It's a small price to pay for them to get your
ongoing business.
